200 life-size Armistice Day soldier silhouette figures and 75 poppy wreaths are currently on display by the Column of Victory at Blenheim Palace.   I visited the other day and it was both moving and stunning.  The grounds of Blenheim Palace are wonderful to explore at this time of year too with all the Autumn colours and the playpark at the Pleasure Gardens currently remains open.

The installation is the work of Witney-based artist Dan Barton and are made from recycled building materials. The art installation is in memory of The Unknown Soldier for The Royal British Legion, paying respects to our fallen heroes this Remembrance Day.
