What’s On For Kids October Half Term in Gloucestershire 2024

October Half Term Activities in Gloucestershire 2024
SPOTLIGHT Halloween Light Trail at Slimbridge Wetland Centre (Slimbridge) 11th October – 3rd November
Halloween Light Trail will take you on a journey that’s every bit as amazing as the wildlife you’ll see during the day. You’ll discover the Marsh Witch and her potions, pumpkins, shipwrecks, scarecrows, bats, broomsticks, and much more. Make a wish with her in the pond zone, get creative in the arts and craft zone, or toast marshmallows in the firepit.

- Pumpkin Fun at Cotswold Farm Park 4th – 31st October
- Illuminated Evenings at Fairytale Farm (near Chipping Norton) 5th October – 17th November
- Hayles Fruit Farm Spooky Trail & PYO pumpkins (Winchcombe, near Cheltenham) 20th – 31st October (Closed Mondays)
- Halloween Farm Trail at Primrose Vale 23rd October – 3rd November
Halloween Trail at Blenheim Palace (Woodstock) 25th October – 3rd November
Wander from dusk into darkness and through the spooky spider tunnel to be surprised by fantastic fire performers as you watch out for the headless horseman emerging from the mist.
Witch’s House at Cogges (Witney) 25th – 4th October
This was AMAZING last year. Keep an eye on Red Kite Days socials for this year’s review. Cogges Manor will be transformed again into The Witch’s House. Tiptoe through spooky rooms decorated as scenes from our favourite childhood stories, and see spooktacular sights and sounds. There will be a pumpkin trail around the grounds again too.
