Exeter play park is the biggest and best of all the play parks in Kidlington. It was totally revamped in July 2018 and is a popular and regular trip with my kids.
My bigger kids love to scale this netted climbing frame and there is also a double zip wire which is lots of fun. The zip wires run down next to each other so two kids can race each other. I think my boys would stay on it constantly if they could.
There are a three different climbing structures to suit different ages. The little slide and tunnel is perfect for toddlers while the more adventurous can scale the monkey bars and choose between two slides, straight down or curly wurly. There’s also an easy to reach slide from a grass mound.
I love the sandpit at Exeter Park in Kidlington. My youngest loves to scoop and ferry the sand about and dinosaur lovers will enjoy digging down to find the hidden bones.
There are some great sensory elements at Exeter Park too including the chimes and a herb garden full of wonderful smell.
Surrounding the play park is a lovely big grassy area that you could kick a ball around as well as a basket ball and tennis court.
You can reach the park on foot from behind Exeter Hall or there is access to a small car park right next to the play area off Crown Road.
