Set within the beautiful countryside of Chobham and within the grounds of Westcroft Park Polo club, we discovered Wee Nature Spirits, an amazing outdoor playgroup.
On arrival we were greeted by a magnificent group of horses whom belonged to the Westcroft Park Stables, we stood there admiring the beautiful animals and their surroundings. To see these animals so close was a welcome bonus to our playgroup morning.
Upon entering Wee Nature Spirit we were transformed into a child’s dream. Set within an enclosed area the little ones were welcomed in to explore, play, make, read and create whatever their hearts desired.
From outside messy play with mud kitchens, tuff tray activities, painting, apparatus to climb on, trampolines to jump on, a fairy garden, cars to ride on, and an amazing variety of toys to capture their imagination. My little boy didn’t know where to start playing first.
Looking to escape the elements, inside the marquee was an Aladdin’s treasure cave, it’s like you’ve been transported into a child’s dream.
From story books, train tracks, various arts & crafts, a separate baby section with musical toys, dressing up clothes, role play equipment and so much more. It really was like a treasure cave as there was so much to see and do here.
A highlight for Noah was toasting marshmallows on the campfire, his first experience of fire safety and cooking a yummy delicious treat on the open fire.
There was such a warm atmosphere and Lulu made the little ones and myself so welcome during our session. You can see how much love and dedication she has to the playgroup and this shines through in her approach and activities with the little ones.
This playgroup is unique as it gives little people the opportunity to play freely, build resilience whilst feeling safe, and get messy no matter what the weather. Being able to enjoy messy play without having to clean up the mayhem at home.
Now we have experienced the delights of Wee Nature Spirits we will certainly be coming back here again, and we’re looking forward to seeing the fun activities on our next visit.
